Whitley really dominated them twice earlier in the year.
Corbin was the favorite coming into the year but Whitley seems to have their number.
And Corbin hasn’t missed region since 06.
But let’s not forget how much better south was this year. Corbin has to survive tonight before we can even think about it.
Don’t be surprised if whoever wins district doesn’t win region. It all depends on the draw. North/Clay could upset either, especially if they have fresh arms.
No one outside of those five have any chance at all though.

Whitley wins 15-0 over Wburg tonight and didn’t even throw a starter.
They’ll have all arms on deck for tomorrow.
Corbin ends souths season 10-2
Whitley and Corbin for district tomorrow
Don’t forget last season. Whitley beat Corbin twice in the season and lost in the district title game before winning the region title game over them.

Congrats Hounds on District Championship over the Whitley Colonels. Who wins Region Corbin or Whitley?

After the draw I think Corbin has to be an overwhelming favorite. Knox, Clay & Whitley will all likely have to burn significant pitching in an attempt to get to the championship game. Corbin is sitting in a good spot and I think they win it. With that said, they will have to play well to do it because it’s baseball and the favorites don’t always win, just ask the 98 Braves.
