Wayne County Coach Saga

Hadn't heard Farmer to Clay. Hearing Farmer and Phillips both to Pulaski. That leaves one 2 year starter. Edwards started point as an 8th grader and freshman.

So did Dumphord really go to Southwestern? Seems like a strange move for a WR with D1 aspirations to go to a team that likes to ground and pound

Farmer was still at Wayne as of yesterday. There is a ton of chatter in Pulaski that Farmer and Phillips were waiting to finish up class requirements for the year at Wayne and then transfer to Pulaski.

Farmer transferring would not be a surprise but the Phillips family runs deep in Wayne County. Dad is one of the best to ever play at Wayne and mom has been in the district for years.

Lifetime Cards fan here. I'm heartbroken at how all of this has played out. Woods should have been allowed to go out on his own terms. I fully believe that he deserved that much.

That said, if he really did encourage those three boys to transfer as many people are saying in Wayne County, that really proves the program was all about him and not about the kids. Honestly, after all that's went down around here after his firing, I'm leaning more towards that notion. I've lost a lot of respect for everyone involved on both sides except those kids that are sticking it out.

I can't reply to the message.  This is a shared work computer. I use google and my coworker usese firefox. You can delete that other post and this one. I usually just read but when I heard Rodney Woods contacted Pulaski first it tore me up.
