That brings up a point that I think a lot of kids that are starters don’t realize. How important those freshman, sophomore, and junior scout team guys really are. That’s a big thing that I believe has helped Pikeville and Raceland in their development and how they have continued to grow. They don’t have “down years” because their scout team/JV teams are just as good as alot of schools 1s/2s, they are challenged, all of them. The starters, JV, and scout teams. Depth is seemingly the defining difference between top level 1A schools.

JV had a good year. Only playing 2 Kentucky teams. Ashland and JC. Everybody else was out of state.
