Hot Seats
#1
Some friends of mine in Richmond were talking about “hot seats”!

Someone in another thread mentioned a seat in Louisville may be getting hot.

Isn’t it too early for this thinking???

I know it’s NEVER too early in Corbin!???

Should the season play out and schools then evaluate program status and make these decisions?

Dustin Buckner is banana pepper hot. Jesse Peck is jalapeño hot. 2 Tone Tommy Greer is ghost pepper hot.

Howard at hazard? Maybe wins one more game this year… 2-8 Hazard would be considered hot seat in my mind but he’s been there a while?

Corbin may very well play Boyle in round 3 this year. Fri. , Nov. 17th.

Okay so I overlooked that game but my question remains……how is he on the hotseat

Bob Sphire at Highlands is taking a lot of heat.

Ft. Thomas folks mad losing to Cov Cath...again. Mad at a 32 point margin over Campbell Co. Mad they're not going to win a title for the ninth straight year. Mad at how he was hired. Mad they feel stuck with him after Franklin Co.'s coach backed out. Mad at their AD. Mad at their Principal. Mad at their kids for not playing "The Highlands Way" and why isn't coach teaching that. Mad that Chris Wolfe won't leave Male to come "home" and rescue the 'Birds. Mad that now that Cincinnati Moeller hired Bert Bathiany, he won't come back a save the Fort either ...

I mean mad as in crazy. Every passing week/month/year of their fan base losing their collective minds, lessens the chance that somebody at least as good as Shpire is ever going to "return Highlands to greatness." Just a toxic place to work up there.

Pass the popcorn please, I'm so here for it.

Tommy could be Carolina reaper mixed with a scorpion and it wouldn’t matter. Just glad we got him. I can’t stand coaches asking for what’s promised to them, or trying to start people both ways. They should be ashamed.

Highlands fans should wake up and realize how the last coaching search went, the best they could do was a coach that quit after 1 day.

If they fire the current coach they may be stuck with hiring a youth league coach.

I recommended one with a hot seat / smoked hind end get a water cooled seat. They didn't take my advice and melted plum down.

There must be problems besides Buckner in Knox County. Jellico played better than I had ever seen them play when he coached there.

KC got a ton more talent walking up and down school hallways than what Buckner has been able to get out. KC and Buckner are three years away from competing consistently and that’s if administration leaves Buckner alone to do his job..

With current admin- Kyle Moore is as safe as a Coon in a log with the axe throwed down and the dogs tied back.

But honestly; who would want that job and go in there and do any better?

IDK, the offense doesn’t quite make any sense at times. The offensive line is getting manhandled which should not be the case at KC. The pieces are there to be decent and great if they go in the halls and grab some talent, but they aren’t preforming and haven’t since he arrived. So i respectfully disagree that if not for the Bell win last season, hes a complete wash.

I think Whitley Co. comes out on top in this 'meeting' they are just a better team I saw them play North and they had a strong team on many levels.

He's a good coach whether you agree or not. Jellico couldn't possibly have a winning season with a bad coach. Corbin probably wouldn't have had him on staff either.
