Betsy Layne 68 Lawrence County 63

Betsy Layne once again takes a huge 1st half lead, leading at one point by 15 pts, only to see Lawrence County take a 1 PT lead in the 2nd half.  The Bobcats secure the win at home though.

That bench keeps getting shorter. Looked like three players sitting there and I think BL went starting five in the second half the whole way. Robinson and Kidd have to stay out of foul trouble for BL to have any chance in the postseason.

Bench is short, middle school kids playing in state tournament. The Music kid playing football bowl.

As soon as season ends, looks like 2 new kids coming in.

Music will help when he gets back. Middle schoolers are not going to help this year.  As far as players coming in after the season, I don't see how that helps them now.

Bobcats still have a chance to win the region, but there room for error keeps getting smaller as they can't play the pace that best suits them.

They should win out from here heading to district either way and locking up the one seed Friday will be huge as far as there postseason goals are concerned.

Good luck to the Bobcats, but this may come down to season of what ifs.

Wait so you’re saying BL is getting two transfers after the ball season.  You mean to tell me recruiting happens at other schools other than Pikeville.  Some other posters heads may explode.
