Raceland probably better than Hazard.

Raceland will get the #2 spot in a few weeks after Hazard plays Pikeville.
#4
Looks about right to me. Flip flop Raceland and Hazard.
#5
I think the order of these will definitely change in the next few weeks
#6
How will Pikeville not playing a 10th game affect this? If Raceland wins the Lawrence game they may pass them. But as long as your top 2 then you have home field advantage

What happen just noticed hazard is back in front on the RPI?
#8
Wonder how that happened in between games? You got some pull bac2369 ???

There were six games scheduled for Thursday, which may have slightly affected the OOWP component of the RPI algorithm for each team.

So it is possible that Pikeville can beat Hazard in the regular season and be the district winner but in the playoffs if they meet Pikeville would go to Hazard for the playoff game if they met in round 3 or 4? If Hazard beats Shelby Valley final week and Raceland beats Lawrence County it’s very likely they will both finish above Pikeville in rpi

It changed again Pikeville back in front.

The mysterious RPI monster. I'll take the blame. lol   When one looks at the OOWP component of the RPI, it's pretty easy to see how it is affected a little bit when several games are played. I'd have to look closer at Pikeville and Hazard to see how, and if, last night's games could have affected the RPI slightly.

The winner of the Pikeville/Hazard game is likely to the be the #1 in RPI.

Even if Hazard beats Shelby Valley and Raceland beats Lawrence?

Keep me updated old school hound because I have no clue what is happening
The winner of the Pikeville/Hazard game is likely to the be the #1 in RPI.

If I get a chance this weekend, I'll project the end of season RPI's for Pikeville, Hazard, and Raceland under the scenarios you listed above.

It’d be a shame if Raceland and Pikeville had to play before the finals. We’d have a game like in 2020 where KCD had no business being in that game. Probably the worst team to ever play in the finals

I haven't crunched any numbers, but very hard to see how Hazard can finish above Pikeville with 3 losses.

No numbers need be crunched.  If Hazard loses to Pikeville (likely, in my opinion) , there's no way they finish above Pikeville.

That was my gut feeling too.

Unless I'm mistaken, Pikeville playing only nine games instead of ten shouldn't cost them enough RPI points to keep them out of the #1 position. I'll have to do the heavy math lifting to know for sure but I suspect Pikeville will be at the top. Pikeville deserves the top spot if they win out.

If Pikeville wins out I think only Raceland has a shot of passing them...if they beat 3A Lawrence Co. Pikeville #2 RPI still fine with me, all home until Kroger.
#22
With the RPI, Pikeville, Hazard, and Raceland will be at the top. The top spot is huge because it would keep them away from the other 2 until the finals. The other 2 will more than likely be playing in the 3rd round.
#23
Three key games for Pikeville RPI tonight:
Highlands/CC, Belfry/Lawrence Co, GRC/Madison Central
May not like RPI but it keeps you interested when your team isn’t playing.

I believe if the Rams win out they will be the number one seed
