Look, coming from a county that has had some success, but it is sometimes far between good seasons, with some major ups, and some long downs I know what it means to finally get a very talented team. Bardstown would have easily been my sleeper pic to really truly make noise in the playoffs, if not possibly win a title. No kid, no team, no fan base deserves this kind of terrible luck. I understand one of the injured players is a senior. I have also saw this happen to a promising team in my own county and our best skill guy. This has just bothered me, from a distance for this team for the last several days. I hope that team knows that us fans of this sport know they truly are a contender and I hope somehow they can keep winning. It just sucks for those players and my prayers go out to you. I know this happens all across the state every year, but it is never, ever, easy. Keep fighting and defy the odds for your fallen brothers, Bardstown.

They lost the starting center in the preseason to a freak broken tibia. He is a senior. Season over. They lost their best player, their running back and outside linebacker, to a torn ACL week before last. He is a senior. Season over. They lost their QB Friday night. He was having a tremendous year. He is a senior. Season likely over. They lost a starting lineman to a concussion in a car accident Friday night after the game. Junior. Season not over, but out a few weeks. They had also already lost a back up quarterback and a number two wide receiver to season ending injuries, both juniors. Ive never really seen anything like it.

I only knew about 2 of those kids. Then I just saw the score from tonight and I'm blown away by what this team was able to do last night against Hazard. What a tough minded group.
