Belfry didn’t seem to play with the passion and intensity we seen last week which was surprising. Pikeville should win 1A again. They are good. Where does this win tonight rank in the biggest win for Pikeville in the series?

Completely disgusted with the lack of effort tonight by Belfry. 2-3 is not great but thinking back to last season it was 0-5. Belfry has a couple of cupcakes the next two weeks before they face Lawrence County in Louisa. It’s a rebuild year on Pond Creek as we lost Mr. Football Isaaac Dixon and a lot of our offensive line. Hope Pikeville can win their State Title. Pirates have a lot of work to do. Best wishes to both teams the rest of the year.

Big win tonight for the Panthers as they make it 4 - 0 against Belfry. Tonight showed us a little bit how many weapons Pikeville has and are still developing. Most are underclassmen too. Future looks great for Pikeville as well as Belfry as they have a platoon of underclassmen. IMO, wouldn’t be at all surprised to see both teams in Lexington. Congrats Panthers!!

Pikeville has better players overall and tonight they played harder than Belfry. Plus the 2 muffed punts didn’t help either. I thought this game would be a game in the 4th quarter but this was over at halftime.

Duty was fantastic, kudos to that kid for stepping up and playing a great game.

Belfry has a lot of talented sophomores and freshmen getting quality game experience which will most likely result in some more state titles in the future.
