Rock has potential to be special. We have to get all the penalties cleaned up. In both games penalties plagued one half of the game. In the first one against Casey penalties really costed us several drives in the second half. Last week against East Jessamine penalties plagued us the first half and stalled out every offense possession. The second half was a lot cleaner and we put up 27 points. If we ever get a solid 4 quarters where we’re not committing so many penalties our offense can really be special. We have a stud RB a true freshman WR who has the potential to be great who is explosive and will only get better. QB can throw and run just have to clean up the penalties. Defense against the run is good and has potential to be as good against the pass as well. I look for this game to be like the first two close then Rock pulls away.

IMO, these are the best games to watch on Friday nights. If I want to watch college, I get up on Saturday and head to EKU, Center, or even UK or Louisville. If I want to see good solid fundamental football, with kids who give everything they've got, I watch a 3A game like this one. Rock and Wayne are so similar in some ways, but Wayne can't help themselves to throw that ball (lol), thus, not usually their strength. Rock, from what I saw firsthand, will hand off the pigskin and will live or die by it. I think they will live and win by a couple of TDs.

I am going to go watch some EKU games the next couple of years since all these KY kids that I have seen play on the high school field is now at EKU. I thought this would be a good matchup.... Wayne looked good last year when I saw them, I knew they were young but had a dandy lookng QB.. Rockcastle made a dandy come from behind win against East Jessamine so I knew they were getting better too. I hope its streamed somewhere, I would like to watch it. I try to catch as many games as I can through the week.

EKU is almost too cheap on tickets for the football you get. A good friend ex-coworker played there and played for a championship in 1979/80. The pride he talks about EKU with is crazy. He only played one year, but started as a freshman! Fused neck ended his career way too early, but he still made their wall of fame.
