Pikeville should simply use this game as an opportunity to get better. Cov Cath is 5 A....Pikeville in 1 A.
No harm in playing up to try and test your kids to see what they are made of to get better for down the road.
Cov Cath should put a running clock on Pikeville, simply by size alone. Pikeville is a Strong Class A school. No need to jump off a bridge this early in the season.
Yes, Cov Cath is not very good, but they are simply bigger and have much more to chose from than Pikeville. Simple law of averages here.
Good Luck to both Programs. Two perennial powers in each respective classes.

Agree with you but this also allows every 1A team in the East to see how to beat you.
