Hazard 42 Middlesboro 24
#1
Final.

Hazard is pretty dang good folks.

Hazard is definitely a legit state title contender this season, congrats to the Dawgs on the big win.
#4
Hazard will need to clean things up.. Good thing it’s the first game of the season..
#5
Nice win for the Dawgs to start the season.
#6
Hazard is the real deal, I think they are closer to Pikeville then most “experts” say. When you have a kid like Max Johnson, you have a chance..
#7
Wasn't all the refs use to play or coach at Hazard HS? I'm not saying they cheated just seems a little off of all the pics I seen those refs are from Hazard... lol
#8
i never blame the refs but tbe refs hprrible last night

I agree I was very impressed with Hazard last season, especially in the playoffs against Pikeville.

It will be a battle no doubt, the Dawgs are legit.

I wouldnt crown them just yet. Middlesboro lost some key pieces from last year. Good win for sure for hazard but most thought they would win this one. How did the big kid that transferred from knott do?

Congratulations to Harzard

Was able to watch this one on Facebook and although I agree Hazard is very capable to still be playing in December, state title teams don’t give up two special teams touchdowns in one game too often. They are very dangerous offensively, but have a lot to clean up all around. Congrats Bulldogs and good luck to the Yellow Jackets!

Middlesboro is young but they have upside for the future. Hazard is electric but needs to clean some things up. I would say right now as they stand the bulldogs are the only thing in the way for another panther title.

Hazard is much improved, but I wouldn't be crowing them quite yet. Middlesboro lost a ton of production from last year, and I believe they may be one of the most overrated teams in the state at this point in the season. The Jackets are young and they are only going to get better in time, but I think they will take a few steps back this year. Hazard will no doubt be Pikeville's biggest competition outside of Raceland.

Don’t change your tune now. They were gonna put it on hazard a week ago according to you because hazard was bad out of shape. Now they’re freshman and junior dominant. Quit making excuses.
