Same. His videos are great.
I don’t call him the “Steve Sabol of Pikeville” for nothing…

This could actually happen. Same stupid people doing same stupid stuff. I didn't hear of any player dying from covid or really hardly any players even got sick. Lots of idiot politicians gearing up for more lockdowns even though everyone knows they have very little if any effect. Lots of teachers would like another year off too. We live in what has become the biggest clown country the world has ever seen.

Also many politicians want covid back because it's a big election year and they want their voters to be able to get as many ballots as they want and out of staters and illegal aliens too...

Did Lynn Camp get enough kids out to field a team this year?

Where’s the Paintsville faithful? Any from Newport Central Catholic on here to tell us about them? How about someone from western Kentucky to help with a few teams on that side of the state.

I believe NCC fans are on that…..other site! Along with western Kentucky fans. Bac can you believe it’s been about 30 years since Raceland and Hazard has played a football against one another? That’s crazy….when I played we was in the same district! These two schools need to work something out.

I’ve been waiting a while to see that matchup. Thought it was coming at least 2-3 times since 2007 but no cigars… I love that cross brackets are back and re seeding in the 3rd round. If our teams take care of business then it’s very possible to see it.

Id like to know where bluebird and melons went. Theres some occasional back and forth but its getting too professional in here. Paintsville sucks, Fairviews awful, and Pikeville is only good because they can buy beer after the game!!!! See if that stirs the pot some lmao.

Thumbing through rosters on the Khsaa site and Paintsville has 0 Freshman listed. Do they just not have any Fr on the team or are they just not listed on the roster at this point?

NCC dad here. Not all of us like that other site….lol. They got me the first year until I didn’t capitalize some names and got my hand smacked and then I laughed at them then got banned…lol.

As far as NCC I think we will be like normal to be honest make a deep run then get out coached again. We have a lot of kids returning we only had 5 seniors last year so we were young. I think this year we only have maybe 6 or 7 seniors.

Same here...though I mostly follow EKY teams (especially Pikeville and Belfry) I was a member of the other site for a few years.  I found the guy who runs it to be a extreme narcissist...he definitely missed his calling because he should be a politician.

Most teams don't have Fr listed on their roster yet  Paintsville has around 35 kid's outs

When the season ended last year I felt that Raceland would be the favorite coming into this season, but I am just an outsider looking in. I was also basing that on the talent that each of the schools had returning. I have no idea who transferred in or out. I could obviously be completely wrong, but that was my gut feeling. We shall see.
^^^Just hard for me to see someone having a running clock put on them in the 3rd quarter the last time they took the field suddenly becoming the favorite. Going to have to be 3+ TDs better than the last time they played and I'm not going to give them the benefit of the doubt.

12 Birchfield, Blake 22 192 3
1 Hensley, Wade 5 109 1

7 Lundy, Logan 9 13 3 52 0

Rushing
Team 29 120 1
2 Wallace, Noah 9 62 0
1 Farrow, Jules 7 22 0
28 Browning, Isaac 5 21 0
7 Lundy, Logan 6 7 1
8 Hughes, Connor 1 7 0
4 Heighton, Jaxon 1 1 0

JP, I could be completely wrong.  A major advantage Pikeville will have over Raceland and Hazard is that they have won the championship multiple times.  Raceland  and Hazard's current roster has not.  We will see.  As always, I will be rooting for Pikeville unless they are playing the Mighty Bobcats.  It should be an exciting year.

Well this talk is good for us old folks to have but for Pikeville I know the coaches are looking at Corbin and no one else and that in its self is a task for this Pikeville team and I imagine Raceland’s coaching staff is the same mind set. Both these teams have to take care of business during the season to get that chance to meet and hopefully they do and hopefully it’s at Kroger field but many competitors stand between them and that opportunity. Never overlook any team and always respect your opponent. But as always GO PANTHERS!!!

Thats why alot of us are a little more realistic about it JP. We are better in every fashion from a year ago. But is that enough? Hard to say until we start seeing teams in action. I live by the "if you wanna be the man, gotta beat the man"...
I expected more of Raceland in last seasons playoff showing...Pikeville could have probably won by 50 if they really pushed it.

I know Raceland is legit and I'm going into the season expecting big things from Raceland as well as Hazard, they gave Pikeville a good game in the playoffs last season and their sophomore QB is a stud but Pikeville will have their new QB rolling by November and I just expected more after reading all the hype from a few certain posters all last season.

It's a new season though and anything can happen as Pikeville fans saw a few years ago when Hazard took them out early in the playoffs.
Whos thebteam to beat out west to push their way in?
Tbh, any of the three; Pikeville loaded out as they are with its stable of running backs and the line play they will have; Raceland returning everything but the kitchen sink; Hazard, as much improved as they are and capable of pulling an upset when least expected; none of these three can be overlooked or left out or overlook each other.  Any of the three could be the one. Jmo.
Racelands scrimmahe with Belfry went very well. As did Pikevilles scrimmage with JC. Who has Hazard scrimmaged thus preseason? What about Painesville, NCC, Williamsburg?

RACELAND VS. PIKEVILLE
PIKEVILLE STATE CHAMPS
I was able to watch Belfry/Raceland scrimmage and the Pikeville/Johnson Central scrimmage
I’ll rank them in this order
1. JC
2.Pikeville
3.Belfry
4. Raceland
Belfry outplayed Raceland and even scored thru the air. Raceland has much room for needed improvement from first scrimmage and I fully expect they will
Johnson Central is largest of all are schools and it shows but not as big a gap as should be. Pikeville gave them a real test and if Qb spot is solidified they will be very good. I believe Boykin kid wins out he is much more athletic of the 2. And can take a busted play and go with it. Duty has better arm.
Pikeville and Belfy have schedules that will test and prepare them both for another run at Kroger
