Crazy opinion, but looking at these schedules make me think 5A might be down this year. Just looking at certain scores, I would've thought they beat certain teams worse than they did. Not saying they aren't good, but I think the top of each class is a lot closer this year than maybe ever before.

I think that South Warren has been underrated all season. With both Brandon and Chuck Smith on the sideline for South Warren, there is no way that I would pick them to lose.

I'm going with Frederick Douglas. I didn't think they'd make it to the title game. Now that they have, I believe they win it.

In the 5 years of FD existence, they have gone to 1 regional title game/ lost, 2 state semi- finals/ lost both and 1 championship game/ lost. And IMO, they will fall short again this season to SW.

Watched South Warren against Woodford, Woodford was actually more talented than I thought, and SW destroyed them. Seeing both Woodford and Douglas play, I would say Woodford Offense is a little better than Douglas, but Douglas Defense is ALOT better than Woodford. So going with 21-14 South Warren. Hearing both teams, more than likely will be 6A on the next realignment.

I was very impressed with SW vs Woodford County. Anything can happen in high school football! Should be fun to watch!

South Warren got a FG on their first drive tge Broncos got a touchdown but the extra point was blocked. Douglass leads 6-3 with 4 minutes left in the first quarter.

South Warren scored on the 2nd possession and held the Broncos on their’s and now the Broncos force a fumble and take over on SW 37 yard line.

South Warren with a big time 22 yard touchdown on a heck of throw. The extra point is good South Warren 17-6. Douglass needs some points here especially since they will also get the ball to start the 3rd quarter.
