North Laurel wins: Bell County 30-22, Breathitt 34-12, Shelby Valley 42-7

Barren County wins: Warren East 24-21, Monroe County 35-13
                   losses: Metcalfe County 27-13, Adair County 34-26

North Laurel is on a 3 game winning streak and looking to stay undefeated. Barren is on a 2 game winning streak looking for a 3rd.

Can't believe North Laurel is looking to go 4-0. I think they will do it by George LOL. I know the QB dad for North Laurel and these are very fine folks. As good as you can get. Good luck boys and go after that 4th win!!!!!

Save it sunshine, you all come over to the Corbin threads and spread hate all the time on a bunch of local high school kids that you’ve honestly never seen play.  As far as the numbers comment talk is cheap tell your coach to quit running from a game and play us, but that’s the problem simply putting up numbers is for individuals our TEAM would put up some numbers all right but it would be on the scoreboard and it’d be a lot of them.

They should, but like Mr Golf said, kids that play at Corbin couldn’t play at North Laurel.  The ones like John Sizemore, Harley Lambert, Justin Brumet couldn’t play there but they sure played for the Hounds and shined while they where doing it.  Especially Sizemore, he was a wrecking ball, kids just didn’t want to hit or be hit by him.

• CalPreps has NL's Strength Of Schedule ranked 32nd (of 39) of current 5A schools in the last 20 years.

• Barren Co. hasn't won a playoff game since 1992 and have had a winning record four times since.

• Barren Co., like Grant Co., are 5A sized programs that have been in such rough shape in the last five years that they dropped out of District play for a bit. North Laurel has scheduled both.

• If a school has more than 725 boys and is scheduling 2A teams like Prestonsburg, Middlesboro, and Walton-Verona ...
