Danville is pretty good. They aren't championship (LCA) good but they are solid this season.

Danville is really not that bad. If they had a QB they could be really good. Their defense is fast and gets to the ball.

I’m surprised by the score. But not entirely shocked. LC played us almost to the wire last year and I remember their radio broadcast saying a few RB’s were underclassman. So now the question rests, is LC still a pretty good football team or are they and Danville average or a little better than?

Somewhat of a style matchup, or "styles make fights" thing. Lincoln is big on their line, real big, IMO. Danville is decent sized, and looked like they had more kids out than I was lead to believe. Danville's speed on the line and linebackers made it hard for Lincoln's big guys to adjust and block. Danville, per usual, or often, look somewhat on the lighter side, but exceptionally strong for their weight. Danville has more speed than I saw in their scrimmage, ESPECIALLY on defense. Lincoln has an exceptional running back/slot guy, and a solid QB. If they played again I would probably still favor Lincoln. It was partially adjusting to the punch in the mouth Danville had with their team speed, and also possibly slightly an off night. Danville is still not where they normally are, but as the story goes, "the rumor of their demise was HIGHLY exaggerated"!
