Yes,
I always think its gonna be more for the Flyers But this is where they always seem to hold... But there is not alot of Players that do not contribute to the team hanging around. Coach James ask way too much of the folks in the program so the fluff, fades away fast..

Another smart ass comment. Big surprise.

Danville has never had big numbers. Couple that with the Head Coach being unceremoniously dumped and you can understand why the numbers are lower than usual.
However one of Danville's best teams ever had only 29 if I remember on the whole roster and still went 13-0 and won the 1984 AAA State Championship.

So who besides their QB from last year moved over to Boyle?
07-28-2021, 10:31 AM
Well I mean….Raceland said layer Danville last year and they had more then 22. Looking at the roster from last year they should have more then just 22 so some must’ve left for greener pastures

Beechwood has 73. That includes freshman

43 out for Somerset is the last I heard. I think there are only 5 seniors this year.

This is hard for me to believe, but was told Belfry only has 47 out this season. I remember at one time they had 99 on their roster.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but looks like Pikeville has 63 on it's roster. If all of 22 of those 8th graders had signed up, that would have made it somewhere around 80, maybe 82.....huge numbers for class 1-A.

Actually I got the roster yesterday and there are 45 names on it. Take away Mikey Hylton, who transferred to Tug Valley, and it's 44.
There are only 8 freshman on the roster. That is almost unheard of at Belfry. Several, meaning 4-6, 8th graders stayed back. 3 members from one family, the Rash twins and their little brother, moved to play at Herbert Hoover. And honestly, a few kids that had been with the program 1-2 years, did not come back out. The last few years, Belfry has hovered in the 60-65 player range to start the year. This year is just different. Belfry's starting 22 will be very good, but depth is almost non-existent.

Corbin doesn't have 90+ as 64SUR said. You can tell he is crooked and leans to the left.

In his defense, when you have 6 or 7 favorite teams you can sometimes get confused on which kids are on which team.

I think Whitley County only has around 40 players.
