The Tornado lands the current skipper at Crittenden Co, Sean Thompson. A young guy from Crittenden who has been the head boss for 3 seasons

By all accounts, Thompson did a good job @ Crittenden Co. with a 28-8 record in 3 seasons. Not sure what the kerfuffle was with Smith at PT. He probably will be across town by next fall. So the revolving door continues at PT.

Homerun hire for PT. With his son in middle school and absolute future star, PT would crazy not to keep him for the next 6 years. He’ll get them a state championship within 4 years.

He will regret this move in 2 years. He is going from being worshipped in a one horse town to playing 3rd fiddle to a track and wrestling. It won't take long for him to realize he was at a school where it wasn't super hard to win and the parents hung on every word. Yes he will have better athletes but it won't be easier to win state at PT. He is something like the 6th coach in 8 years. At Crittenden he followed HIS coach, who had been there for 20+ and is generally considered the best coach Crittenden ever had. He was handpicked and groomed by that coach. Al Starnes could have left Crittenden for many better jobs. Sean should ask himself why. PT has talent. Loads of it. But they always do. Parent and fan support suck. Navigating the parent and adult landmines will be difficult. All these will have him daydreaming of a simpler time. Beating up on Fulton City, Fulton Co., and Russellville. Good luck tho, he's gonna need it.

THere is some truth in this... But.
he should win that district every year. Arguably, it's easier than his district as Russellville has the chance to be pretty good.
But you are correct. Tilghman is a SH*& show. He is the 6th coach in 9 years I believe. And if gets his butt beat by Mayfield and McCracken his first two years, people won't care if he makes regional title games.
They expect to beat mayfiled and McCracken. Not an easy feat. Good For tilghman, I just worry that Sean is going to get chewed up and spit out like the 6 before him did.
Think about it this way. McCracken has had 10 Coaches in the last 30 years.
Crittenden had 2.

You mean Tilghman has had 10 coaches I assume in the last 30 years.
