Attendance Policy
#1
What's everyone doing this year?
#2
I'm guessing schools will start off running a tightest ship they can, with attendance restricted to parents, temps being taken, contact forms filled out and social distancing. As the season progresses it'll move back toward business as usual just like football did. Athletic director and school staff isn't paid anywhere near enough to argue and police people who choose freedom to do whatever at the risk of others.

It's 100% on fans and parents whether this season will be able to continue or be shut down.

I'll beg this of fans; when you go to games keep to yourself, wear your mask, and keep the younger kids with you away from others or leave them home.

These athletes deserve to have a season, let's do everything in our power to follow the rules.

Life is hard enough on Athletic Directors now as it is, let all pull together for the kids.

Information concerning the BLHS vs. Paintsville game
BLHS will be hosting our first home game of the basketball season on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021. JV tip-off is set for 6:00 P.M., Varsity will follow at 7:30 P.M.
As you can expect, due to COVID-19, there will be specific guidelines to follow to make this event possible for our Bobcats.
Fans in attendance will be required to wear a mask AND remain socially distant AT ALL TIMES. Failure to comply will be grounds for dismissal from the event.
Per KHSAA, the attendance recommendation has been revised for the first two weeks of the season to reflect rostered participants being those who have access to tickets. Fans without tickets will not be permitted to enter the facility. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE GAME.

This what was posted on our Betsy Layne HS facebook page. Seems it'll be like football with a limited number of tickets presold.
If you need any assistance or want to report a problem feel free to PM me and we will get it taken care of!  Thank you for choosing to be apart of the BGR community!

This is what we posted for MC

As per the KHSAA and Gov. Beshear, we are following the guidelines set that limits indoor sporting events to only these attendees: Student-Athlete, Coaching Staff, 4 Family Members of Student-Athlete. There will be a live stream link available at Team1prep.com to purchase a ticket to view our games from your home. This ensures our student-athletes remain as safe as possible and allows our community to remain invested in our athletics.
I hope the community understands that we are doing everything we can to keep our students safe while giving them every opportunity at the athletic level.

This is what Greenup County is doing per twitter.

Basketball season starts tomorrow! Unfortunately we have to limit fans. For now, each rostered player and coach will be provided with 4 tickets. If you are not able to attend, all Greenup County home events will be streamed live on http://nfhsnetwork.com.
