Williamsburg had some opportunities. When you don’t take advantage of scoring opportunities against good teams like KCD they will pound you into dust. Williamsburg dropped aTD pass and failed to score twice in the red zone. KCD lined up and controlled the line of scrimmage. They did a good job of controlling Bowen’s run game. They had no turnovers and gave up no big plays on special teams. Good year for Williamsburg. Other than Thomas they return the majority of their production at skill positions. Platooned up front and return 6 of those 9 kids. Howard and Bates back at linebacker. Young guys got to learn to catch the ball.

i think you’ll be proven wrong, if Paintsville goes in to this resting on what they did last year they will lose big. If they don’t it’s going to be a close game, KCD doesn’t make mistakes and they run a slow methodical offense that’s hard to stop.

KCD is methodical, but Paintsville has a tough run defense. Newport CC could not run between the tackles and it hurt the Breds. KCD is gonna have to throw some to stay in this one and when you run the style of offense KCD does it’s hard to play from behind. If you can stop Paintsville from running between the tackles and make them throw you can win.

I agree with you, I’m excited to see how much better KCD is. However Paintsville is on a mission, I think Paintsville might be making a run to be the team to beat over the next several years.

Turnovers and big plays will be determining factors. Both teams will attempt to impose their will. Early lead is all important. KCD has got up early last two games and controlled the tempo and field position.

This is last good chance for The Tigers. Lose a boatload of talent this season and feeder program about dried up. Gotta get it done this season!!!!
