Russell 47 East Carter 28
#1
Final.

Don't Let the Score Fool you. East Carter played the starters all game and Russell did not. At least  2 td's were scored on the Subs. The game would have gotten out of Control if Russell's starters played all game.

The mighty devils embarrassed by the score.

EC played all their starters because it was their last game of the year, just like Russell will do against Ashland this upcoming week when Ashland’s JV is in.

Sounds Like you might be a bit Salty. You must be a fan of a team Russell beats on a pretty regular basis. Who's your team?

No specific one, just the 16th region area. I Actually like Russell, just not pointing out that EC only scored cause their starters were in still (they scored the same amount of touchdowns on Russell’s starters as they did on their non starters)

Russell was up 47-14 with 10:07 in the 4th when the starters went out. Russell will benefit from East playing the starters in the 4th for next year while east will be behind because they didn't try to get their young guys experience in a varsity game, even if for 2 minutes or 3 in the game when it was pretty much over.

I just hope fans will be allowed in Putnam next week.

Congratulations to Charlie Jachimczuk on becoming the all time passing yards leader at Russell high school and to Nathan Conley on becoming the number 4 leading rusher.

Russell was up 47-14 in 4th quarter when the subs came in and played remainder of the game. The offense tonight looked really good and the defense had the one lapse late in 2nd quarter when giving up 2 tds to make it 26-14 at halftime. The last 2 TDs for East Carter were on Subs against Russell in the 4th quarter. East Carter has a nice offense with solid RBs and a good QB.

Who were the 3 that was suspended tonight for Russell? Are they starters and will get to play against Ashland next Friday night? Also, besides Conley that was injured in the Greenup County game and we had 4 or 5 injured vs. Ashland in regular season are they back now from injury? I know Conley is back but is the other players back or are they still out and won't play at Ashland. How does Russell look injury wise going into the Ashland game at Putnam Stadium? I know with Conley back that will help alot on both offense and defense and it opens up QB Charlie Jachimczuk passing game with Conley in the backfield. It will be a extremely tough game playing at Putnam but still feel with Conley back this will be a different game. The defense next week will have to step it up and stop the running game especially the long runs by Ashland's Pittman. Tonight against Greenup County Pittman had 252 yards rushing on just 13 carries which averages about 20 yards a run. Russell had a hard time against Pittman last game in regular season. Russell did have 4 or 5 injured players including Conley that night.

#55 Landon Taylor Senior OL/LB looked injured tonight as he was on crutches in the 2nd half. Let's hope he is okay for next week. I know Ethan Oborne was one of the suspended but not sure on the other 2. I think they will be able to play next week as it's only a one game suspension. Ethan Sharp was back tonight which was nice to see.
