Coaching Changes for Next Year in the 15th Region
#31
So is there any truth to the Randy McCoy rumors?
#32
I can tell you this, Randy McCoy did attend the last few weeks of ERHS basketball and I saw him watch the Girls Baseball the other day when we was practicing for Baseball, So - I'm not sure if there is any truth in it, I'd like to see him coach though.
#33
The only change that hope is made is hammonds get him out of SC
#34
Randy McCoy at High School again....step down from college... ..hw was at all the games ...to then step in and try to take May's spot is gutless.  I don't think the adminstation will go there...  SC does need a new coach and PCC may have a new one.  Booher obviously on the hot seat but who know's as for the rest it will stay the same unless BMR calls it a day.

Uh oh.........someone let the cat out the bag

*Brent Rose will hang his whistle up too for administration.
[/QUOTE]

Heard that Brent will return next year as coach of the Bobcats. Cool
#37
I've heard that too
#38
Brent Rose will return next year at the helm of the Bobcats.
#39
Yeah brent rose is comin back next year for betsy layne, also new assistant coaches ronnie akers, and Jeremy Daniels.

Dont be so sure that Casey wont leave Belfry for Morehead St. if Kelly gets the head coach at MSU. Just might happen.
#41
Wells is not even in contention for the job anymore according to recent reports !!!!!
#42
That is what I also had been told. I heard they were looking at an assistant coach from one of the Tennessee OVC schools.

Dude, Coach Casey isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I am glad to see Coach Rose come back to Betsy Layne. He is solid and sounds like he will have a pretty good staff.

cardsfan Wrote:BMR- stays right where he is!!!
Starns- He is the coach of the year in the 15th and maybe the STATE!!! (HE IS AT JC FOR A WHILE)
Hammonds-I hope they help him pack his stuff up and I will buy him a "ONE-WAY" ticket to ALASKA to coach!!!
Martin-Stays at AC.(THIS WILL BE HIS FAREWELL SEASON)

THIS IS MY OPINION ON THESE POSSIBLE RUMORS!!!!!!Â* Â* Â* Â* :lol:Â* Â*

*JR Hammonds will not be forced out this year. The decision has been made. He is still going to be the coach at SC next year. I guess you will have to pack your own bag to Alaska.

? Why would you say Starns is the coach of the year in the state? That is a stupid comment. Most people agreed JC was a top 3 team in the region before the season, and everyone had them in the top 5. Taking a top 5 team and winning the region is not a huge acomplishment. They don't build monuments for that kind of coaching job. He did a good job yes. He won the region yes. But what did he do that makes him the STATE coach of the year? Had he won a game at state then maybe, but your comment makes no sense because you have nothing to back it with. I'd be ashamed if you were my uncle and made a stupid comment like that. I'm pretty sure your nephew would be ashamed as well.................

That is the biggest mistake that S.C. could have made! J.R. Hammond couldn't coach a pee-wee league to winning season. As far as that specific player and his uncle goes, I have read most of his posts and I don't think he has stated anything that he didn't feel to be true. I really don't think that he is ashamed of his uncle, if he was going to be ashamed of anything it should be the fact that S.C. sucks. They have no pride at all at that school. Money has been taken away from the programs for years, everything that they do try to do either falls to the wayside or the students are allowed to destroy it without being held accountable. For example the weight room! I also believe that that person knows that his family only has his best interests at heart. If he does not leave S.C. next year that will be a huge mistake on his part. I know that S.C. is not below bribery, so why don't they actually use it to try to get some good players to come out next year? Did anyone watch Sports Overtime the other night on the season wrap up? They even realize that Jaryd Crum is the only player that J.R. Hammond has coming back, and he will have to carry that team next year!!! I really feel for that kid! He puts his heart and soul into the game of basketball and for what? To play for a coach that sucks!!!! If that coach had half the motivation that he has then that would be a whole different team!!! As far as Cardsfans comments, you know, that's the good thing about living in America, it's a free country and he has the right to say whatever he wants! Even if you disagree with it! I also bet he's glad he doesn't have a nephew like you!!!!!:flame:

I did not say he was coach of the year in the state. I said he should be coach of the year in the 15th.He done a outstanding job with his team as a first year head coach. He was overlooked for the coach out of pike co."What a shock"!!! As far as the coaching situation at SC I could really care less right now if J.R. stays or he goes! This thread was suppose to be just for fun and what could happen.I guess you got your panties in a bunch seeing how you have such close ties to SC!!! :lmao:

I don't think things will change at the Hawks Nest, the way it sounds to me, I think Rowe, will be back on the hill. My opinion is he stays untill his daughter graduates in 2008.

I heard that Booher may be leaving Shelby Valley after the school year and headed to one of two schools. I also heard that Rodney may be coaching again come next season.

What schools did you hear Booher was going to be coaching at, and where is Rodney supposed to be at?
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.
