Take Lawrence Co. out of the 58th district you would have the weakest district in the state.

And that is what JC has done..So what's your point.
Feds Creek and the etc, @#3? And they have done what? Other than Conley's short little 2 year run at EC?..... NOTHING!!
Paintsville at #7...Ridiculous!!
Lawrence Co. at #10?...38 out the last 40 years they have been a basketball laughing stock. One regional title in the whole history of the school? Maybe 2 district titles, which came out of the 58th district?
Whole list is laughable!!.

Respect for what? We are talking basketball, not baseball.

I thought they won during John Pelphreyâs senior year

Paintsville was beaten by Alan Houston and Ballard in Pelphreyâs senior year.

Other than, Heaf's 2 year run? No disrespect. Check the history. Elkhorn was one of the most decorated programs. They success going back to the early 50's with Bob Wright leading those teams. Then into the 70's and 80's with teams in the 80's lead by Darren Stapleton. Then into the 90's. They may not went to state tournament year after year but they had a great run. Feds Creek and Millard and Hellier for that matter which became Millard had great players. Sure they shouldn't be 3 but top 10, yes.

58th District teams own the 15th region in the 1960s.

I'm very much aware of the history. As for the 70's, you didn't even mention, Jimmy Kent Kerr.
Paintsville ruled the late 80's and the 90's, no contest there.

Wasn't saying they didn't. I know they did. I played in the 15th region in the mid to late '90's.

Best in last 15 years.
1) Shelby Valley ( 7 district titles 5 regional 5 All A titles 2 All A STATE titles and 1 Sweet sixteen
That alone is more success than most schools have in their history. Region and state wise it's more success than 2 of the districts in the 15th region the 58th and 60th

5 Regional Titles in the past 15 years! We’ve seen some really good 15th Region teams head to Lexington in the past 25-30 years. REALLY Good! Not knocking those Valley teams or any of the great teams that made it to the Sweet 16 but it puts things into prospective seeing the success that Paintsville had, especially them being the smallest Highschool we have in the Region! Football is hard enough, even divided into classes! Hopefully another 15th Region team will bring another one home in the not to distant future! We’ve had programs make more trips to Rupp but would Paintsville have the most Sweet 16 Tournament Win’s?
