It’s definitely legit.
#4
Was this his most successful coaching stint?

Information?
#6
Why would you take a job and quit at this time of the season? Puts Hazard in a bad spot. Where does Hazard turn now ?
#7
Is this true, I’ve not seen anything from the school or Grizzle.
#8
So Hazard is going to hire John Paul Amis’ nephew Jordan Amis...yikes!

#14

Why? Fill in the blanks as to why they would say told ya so ?
#16
Pathetic.

Why are you baffled? He did that to Ironton also but not to that magnitude. He took the job there and then called them and backed out of it. He’s never going to leave this area to coach without his support system. Hear he’s going to coach at Fairview.
#18
Sorry for the kids of Hazard this is typical wrecking programs in his wake. Not caring about the kids in is path of coarse this has happened last year with the Ironton job accept then decline, his last years team at Greeenup should have been better than what the record showed that was on Coaches shoulders. Where does your coaching career take you now?

I would say he probably won’t have another opportunity to be a Head Coach again.

I would say you are right about that.

I heard that Jordan Amis turned the job down this morning...ugh...who will Happy ask next?
#22
Wait a minute... he backed out of the Ironton job last year?

That was a bad decision on his part.

Ironton not only is a traditional heavyweight, but they just finished 13-2 and State Runner-Ups with an All-American RB/LB.

Bet he wishes he could have re-done that move.

It was after his first season as the head coach at greenup

Who had he hired as his staff? Wonder what they will be doing with his move.

Think a family issue, but I think most Hazard people had doubts last couple of months, Grizzle was in Hazard on January 17th for the announcement at the high school in front of a big crowd. To my knowledge he has ONLY been to Hazard once since then. He had to finish the year at Greenup.
#29
Is there an official statement from anyone?
#30
From what I know, it is a very personal family issue, and a decision he had to make. Some things are bigger than sports, lets just remember that.
