Best thing for Pike Central would be a Hobo, David Rowe as assistant/mentor. hire. End the carousel and let these young guys have a shot. Bartley would make a great hire at Valley with Rod Rowe as a mentor. The game has changed, the kids have changed. Bout time the coaches change.

I don’t want him to go, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Elisha went to Valley.

Honestly, I think it really would surprise me if Elisha left to go to Valley. For one, he would be leaving behind a talented roster at Pikeville, one which would be a strong contender to win region the next 2 years. Valley, on the other hand, will be tasked with doing something they've not had to do in 4 years: win without Cody Potter. I don't see them contending next year.

The other reason it would surprise me is I have been told that Elisha is very happy at Pikeville and is content with his current job. I believe that the only thing that might tempt him away is a college coaching opportunity.
