Breathitt is a very good team. The only thing wrong with this loss is Leslie is the better team. They have been all season but just now beginning to play to their "potential." Leslie missed so many easy shots at the rim tonight. As well as breathitt hitting 8 3s in the game and still finding a way to win the game or for it to even be that close was impressive. Not to mention they said Turner got his 5th foul with 2 mins left in the game. I have to say this was the hardest game they played as a team IMO. Amazing ball game by both teams! I think it's crazy Leslie still isn't a top 6 team in this region according to most. Like to see that one again if they make it !

About the only thin Leslie has going for them is the clock keeper. Dude never started the clock on time. Breathitt tips the ball in the air, Leslie catches and shoots all in 1.7 seconds. What a joke

With All due respect, the game was live streamed and the clip of the last play is circulating. The sound is off time, but the clock does start as soon as the ball is touched. The ball never touched the ground. With 1.7 on the clock there is enough time for the ball to be deflected, caught mid-air, and shot. The clock keeper did his job.

Noble was paid a lot of money and to this point hasn’t done much. Last season he had a team that could have won the region and some questionable lineup decisions in the regional tournament left everyone with a lot of shoulda, woulda, coulda going around. This years team isn’t near as talented and doesn’t seem to have much heart. With all that being said I don’t know who Breathitt would get to replace Coach Noble that is as accomplished as him.

We can debate about the clock all day, but even beyond that Turner fouled out with the 3 minutes left in the game. The officials never caught it. Turner is who put breathitt up late, something that should of never happened. 14 seconds left is the only time breathitt ever led in the whole game by a player who fouled out 3 minutes left in the game. The best team won this round.

Breathitt came out flat and Leslie treated the game like it was their super bowl. Lol they even stormed the court after the game. Breathitt is 15 points better than leslie anyway

Watch the clip not in real time, but moving the time bar with your finger. It obviously starts when ball touched O'Hara's hands. Get your head out of John Noble's tail and accept that you got beat by a better team..

Breathitt is a very good team. They are well coached, hard nosed, and hustle as hard much as anyone. They have two recently notable games where they lost to Hazard by 4 and beat Estill. Leslie lost to Hazard by 5 in their last match up. Breathitt beat Leslie in their first match up of the season that was a close game all game where Leslie led that game most of the game and lost the lead in the fourth. Their second match up Leslie’s Head Coach was ejected in the 2nd quarter over an obvious goal tend. This round Leslie led the whole game up until 14 seconds left. IMO Breathitt and Leslie may be the most evenly matched teams in the 14th right now. So neither team by any means are 15 points better. I hope they both meet again this season.

LOL I wouldn’t say better team. Breathitt was without one of their leading scorers. Breathitt also has won 2 out of the 3 by more than what Leslie won by.

It comes down to this: Breathitt WILL be in the Regional Tournament and could get hot and win the thing. They will for sure have that chance. On the other hand, Leslie will have to go through the perceived regional favorite in Hazard just to get in the dance. Good luck to the Eagles because I am afraid they are going to need it. And don't get me wrong, I will be rooting for the Eagles in that match-up, just a tall order even with it being at home.

Yes your correct breathitt will be in the region tournament and they could very well get hot and win it. If you make it to the tournament anything is possible with any team. The Eagles have a much much tougher road to make it to the tournament. Being the underdogs isn't always bad. You have nothing to lose. All the pressure is now on hazard. This is Big Al last year, Hazard is the "Region Favorite" Everyone has overlooked Leslie all season and they have this Chip on their shoulder that it's them vs the world with the district being hosted at Leslie. So i think anything can happen!

I'm not going to get into who the better team is, but to say Leslie is the better team, just doesn't make sense to me. If I'm not mistaken, Breathitt has played Leslie a total of three times this season and won two. Also, Leslie won on a last second desperation shot to beat Breathitt at home. One could say they are evenly matched, or Breathitt by a hair, but in no way should Leslie be considered the better team.

Bottom line is that was a great win for Leslie as Breathitt has a very talented team even though their record does not reflect that. Either team can make some noise in the postseason. Hazard better not sleep on the Eagles in the first round of the district or they may go home early.
