Wolfe was up 2 with 11 seconds left when Coach Hoskins calls a timeout and drew up a play Duff for 3 to take a 1 pt lead. Awesome game.

Dores just now starting to gel. Picking up Beverly has helped them a lot.

I think this game says a lot for Wolfe. They went to Perry and played a really good game and came up just a little short. Iâm not a fan of moral victories but this young team has to know they can play with any team in the region anywhere. Young teams have to learn to win and I think thatâs what Wolfe is doing right now. Close loses are often the best teacher. Wolfe will get over the hump real soon I think.

Wolfe is a very impressive team. Lost a close one to top team, Hazard, by only 3 points. Now this score. They are proving they are the real deal. Always hard to beat a team like Wolfe that plays hard and plays as a team. They will make some noise in region tournament!

This was a great game to watch, both teams really battled and will definitely be in the mix to win the region in a few weeks. No surmise that Wolfe County could have easily won this game, and no surprise that PCC did win as they have played a lot better lately. Reed for PCC is a load to handle in the lane, and Johnson for Wolfe is the best overall player in the region; Tolson (point guard for Wolfe), is a high level player and one of the best in the region. Duff hit the big go-ahead 3 and played a really good game. The big 8th grader for Wolfe, Ritche, is going to be a force to be reckoned with as the years go on. Im glad I made the trip to the Pumpkin Dome last night, this was a really good basketball game.
