I think it’s funny that Perry County basketball has come to people trying to figure out where the recruits are. What are we going to do we are having to play with only 1 recruit (actually 2 counting the Duff boy). We are the biggest school in the region and can’t win unless we bring in recruits. Lol
Sad times at PCC.

Let me say this, Juice may be gone but Heston Beverly is back. Heston will bring in some talent. He dont bring in mediocre talent. He brought in Jaysean Paige and Justin Johnson. Heston is getting the rooms ready at his dorm as we speak. Perry University will be back on top before district tourney time.

Heston will only be back for as long as Shannon plays Rydge. EVERY time things start going an alternate way than Heston wants it to go, he switches schools. Need I remind you this isn’t his first transfer from County schools to Hazard then back again. And the switching among grade schools prior to was a bit ridiculous. Heston knows his stuff and he will help get talent here. However, don’t count on him staying there long. He’s concern is making it best for his son where ever he’s at. And if he can’t, he will take him where he can. Rydge will end up at a prep school anyways. I think that’s where he will prosper more anyways and that’s what his dad will do. So better count on something long term... perhaps develop the county boys at a young age and focus on them. JMO

I don’t think you are real Perry fan or you wouldn’t be criticizing a program that has won the region two of the past three seasons and played the regional front runner this year to a last possession game their crowd didn’t seem that sad to me last night. JMO

Never said I was a Perry fan. If Perry don’t mind cheering for kids they’re never going to see after high school more power to them. I just think it’s sad when you have to have recruits in the 14th region to win if you are the biggest school in the region. Doesn’t say much for the coaches and feeder system.

Perry will be ok down the stretch and they do have some fine young players on the team. What is really sad is that with the collapse of the coal industry if we don’t get something to replace with jobs for our young people a lot of them will be leaving and we won’t be seeing them. JMO

Fat pat seems like you have been making too many trips to the Circle T. How come you never made any comments about the Knott/Hazard game your scouting report must have been off on that one..

frowny my friend, you my friend are slower than the average commode fan. You can't never make too many trips to Circle T brutha. I usually hit their lunch specials after breakfast and brunch. Then come back sometimes for a lil pregame meal. Hazard beat us like a freakin drum and we are owning it like lil' junior getting his first car, wowza! Now, all I've heard from the Perryites is that the zebras bailed Hazard out, the time clock wasn't kind, too much jibberish about Perry being Hazard's daddy and so on. Makes for some good reading but the way I see it is that you are making excuses and the King is in the gym whipping some a$$ to get better.

I may be slow i have always been a workhorse not a show horse but when you you say it makes good reading i will take you at your word because all the flowery phrases and fancy talking you put down makes me think you are either broadway writer or a big bull!!!er.
