At the end of the game after Pelphrey hit the go ahead bucket, coach Hoskins signaled for a time out and was given a timeout by the official with .8 seconds left and then the teams started shaking hands. Why was the timeout not given?

Two possible things happened. The officials panicked when the crowd rushed the floor, which could have been called a technical on Hazard. Or the clock operator stopped the clock when they were not supposed to on the shot. Either way this game while intense means nothing in the big picture. Even with .8 seconds the chances of getting a good shot and it going on are slim. PCC had their chances and just could not finish. They should feel confident if they play again as should Hazard.

Perry jumped out to a good lead on Hazard and in my opinion should have won this game. Perry shot some erratic shots and Reed played out of control at crucial points of the game. One observation, Pelphrey hit a huge three and some big plays to pull out this win. Not sure on the timeout but the fans stormed the court pretty quick. 0.8 seconds didn't matter. Hoskins and Perry showed they are contenders for the regional but they lost this game with mental errors in crucial points of the game. Get that cleared up and Perry may be repeating champions in the 14th. Good coaching strategies by both coaches and Hazard struggled against the pressure Reed and Perry brought during the press.

Hazard played one of the worse games they’ve played the entire season. They are lucky to have won the game. Regardless, it was good to see getting over the hump of Perry always beating them. If Hazard plays this sloppy the rest of the season, several teams can beat them. However, if they play the way they are capable of playing, they will win Region hands down.

Hazard aint that good. This region is a toss up.

I think Hazard is the best team in the 14th but not a lot better than the 3-4 teams chasing them. The 14th is not very good too to bottom in comparison to past seasons.
