I haven’t had the chance to see buckhorn in action, but I do know that they always play hard-nosed, get after it, basketball. No quit in them. I’ve seen some highlights, but honestly don’t know enough about the players to say much. Well coached though. The score against Jackson City surprised me. Jackson that good, or Buckhorn have a bad game? I had been hearing Buckhorn was a top 5 team. Anyways, Knott Central hasn’t really had any competition in this tournament winning easily up to this point. Not sure that’s a good thing, will they be ready for whoever they meet in finals if they get past Buckhorn? They have some knock down shooters and the best big in the region, plus another big rebounder. Knott defense isn’t the greatest in my opinion, especially since the Higgins boy hasn’t been playing. I see Knott winning this one and making their way back to the finals for the 3rd year in a row.

What happened to ole spider McGuire when knott came to Breathitt and played? Got shut down by a freshman. Can’t wait to see the rematch. Them elbows he through on several occasions didn’t help him out a bit either. Lol.
