Glasgow 21, Casey 14, Final
#1
Casey held the lead, 14-7 until late in the 3rd or early 4th quarter (I'm tired and I am forgetting). Glasgow pulls ahead, 21-14 with around 1:20 left in the ball game. Casey gets a couple of yards but turn the ball over trying to take a few extra chances in order to score quick. Glasgow kneels to take the clock, down. Best ball game Casey has played this year. And no angel got their wings you unoriginal @*#R#$. Good ball game.

Sounds like a tough loss for Casey county was hoping they could pull this one out and get a solid win. I still think Casey has improved this year and I knew when they played us (Rock) early in the season that they don’t quit and have heart. Glad to see them have a decent season good luck rest of the year!

Thanks E's Army. I know the weather was built for a low scoring game, and sometimes evens things out a bit. But still, Casey's QB was on fire last night, and our leading receiver had the best ball game of his career. This is his 2nd year of playing high-school football. It's our QB's 1st year as a stater and he's never got a ton of backup minutes due to having 2 guys in front of him for a couple of years. He's a dynamic player, with good speed. When our top playmaker had his ACL torn in a scrimmage game vs. Western Hills we all knew it was going to be tough, on top of the seniors we lost. We lost our freakish nose guard/defensive tackle who had finally got back on the football field just 2 weeks ago. But that's just part of this. The crazy traditionally good teams always have 2 or 3 guys, deep, who can really really play. Smaller teams just have to catch some breaks. It's still been a fun season. It's football, and nothing besides them cancelling a season for some reason will ever ruin this time of year. Proud of our team.
