1st 8 possessions, 8 TDs with 6 of those coming in 3 plays or less. The other score came on a punt return. Now that's what I call offensive efficiency. Of course, Ballard is really down this year with low numbers and a lot of youth, but, still impressive.
Defensively, the Cards starters have given up a total of 14 points in the past 4 games, so, that side of the ball is coming around, as well. Still bending some, but, seem to be making good in game adjustments and improve as the game wears on.
Murray has some talent and the potential to challenge them next week, but, I'm expecting that same efficiency they've shown recently and come away with a comfortable win. The following week, they close the season against an 8-1 Madisonville team, who'll have 2 weeks to prepare. That'll be a challenge, but, I think they'll play well again and come away with a solid W and be peaking come playoff time.
