West Carter 26 Bath County 6
#1
Final
#2
Congrats to the Comets

Everyone giving bath down the road. I thought this team had a ton of fight mixed with some decent talent. Looks like they had some fight tonight.

I don’t think bath crossed the 50 yard line on offense tonight. Defense played decent but something has to happen on the offensive side of the ball

Bath has several key players out and since the start of the season they’ve had 7 starters out. Lost a starting linemen in week 1, starting RB in week 2 and several key players a long the way. Nelson, McCoy and the freshmen starting linemen McCowan were all out tonight. I feel like if we have these key players it’s a different outcome tonight.

Cline exited the game for the comets in the 1st quarter. If he plays the whole game the comets probably run the clock regardless of who bath County has in or out.

Bath hasn’t scored a offensive touchdown in three games. If we continue to run the ball up the middle, we might not win a game the rest of the season. All I’m saying is, be creative.

Congrats to West Carter.

Bath County, keep your heads up and keep working hard and you'll get it turned around. Hang in there.

Not actually knocked out! Lol I meant knocked out of the game. Some type of leg injury I think

Clone knocked out of game halfway through first quarter. West Carter missed an extra point, field goal, and 2 point conversion attempt. Comets shot themselves in the foot tonight...

Poynter did an excellent job tonight of preventing a running clock. Bath County could’ve ran any offense and scored the same amount of points tonight.

That vaunted Johnny Poynter offense has produced zero points in three games. His offense scheme is so bad he doesn’t even try to score points to catch back up in a game but rather continues to run the ball up the middle to run clock to make the final score respectable. He may do better next Friday as East Ridge is 0-6 and giving up an average of 40 points per game.
