Upcoming Johnson Central Opponent

Lots of speculation on the WV board about issues surrounding Bishop Sycamore, Youthbuild, or whatever their name is today. Sounds like this one might be up in the air whether it happens or not.

Appears that the team consists of post-graduate players and they've already forfeited at least one game. They're also not recognized by the Ohio state association.

What is the deal with this team? They've got a couple teams on their schedule that lower tier 1A teams in Kentucky would put a running clock on, and then teams like Ensworth, Warren Central, and Clearwater who are on the level of Trinity and Male. Red flag.

This is the same team that Belfry had to drop and it cost us a 10 game season. Whatever that's going on there, to my understanding, is illegal and Coach Heywood wanted no part of it. We were supposed to play them this past Friday.

That's a shame. Sounds like Point Pleasant (WV), who's not played yet this season and Belfry should have hooked up instead of being involved with this bunch. Point is stuck with an 8-game schedule if this deal with Bishop Sycamore/Youthgroup/Insert A Name Here doesn't happen.

If I'm not mistaken that was brought up, Belfry vs Point Pleasant, but for some reason nothing became of it.
