We all know that the last 4 years even though Raceland has won 3 of 4 these games are always close and no one dominates this game. It should be another great game at Russell and last weeks Russell win over Mason County was a nice start after the 1st quarter. I really like Jr. QB Charlie Jachimczuk and after the 1st quarter last week he looked good leading the Red Devils. The Receivers are young but they will get better as the season progresses this year. We have 4 or 5 good running backs as Russell always does this year and the Offensive and Defensive lines look tough for Russell. We all know Raceland will be outstanding this year but I still believe that this game will be a close game and either team can win this game this Saturday night. It sounds like from most Raceland fans that this game will be a runaway after the 1st quarter. Russell is better this year and last year's game at Raceland was only 14-7 win for Raceland. This will be another battle between the two rivals and should be an outstanding game being Week 2.

Just a little tip to all the lambs , I know a few are thinking about coming to tank tomorrow to watch the Tigers roll the pirates, the first day ticket sales was around 5 thousand they are expecting around 10 thousand so I would buy a ticket early so you don’t have to wait in the line , they are selling them at the high school , gates open at 5 . I’ll be in the OU parking lot around 4 come on by

This could be exactly how this game goes! Raceland has yet to stop the run in two scrimmages and against Greenup! Until they do I have no reason to believe that they can !

You guys worry too much. The defense will get better. Always has. Heck they've only given up two scores in the scrimmage & two in the first game.

Big jr high game against Pikeville. Probably be more entertaining than the Tiggers and the pee rats.

OVC is terrible as a whole , Galia will be solid so will Portsmouth that’s it, my opinion is if Ironton wants to return to the Ironton of old they gotta get out of that conference , I understand why they got in it mostly travel but there plenty of teams they can play and still not have to travel to Columbus. I would like to see teams like Jackson, spring valley ,Johnson central be back on their schedule

If Raceland wants to see themselves as competitive for a title this year, this is a game they need to win comfortably and show improvement from week 1. Watching Paintsville make a 19-0 after being down 2 scores to win over former 1A title holders and now 2A Beechwood, the East is wide open. Gotta get better each and every week to get to where we all wanna be.
