Not much except their usually a power in Tennesse high school football. I do remember what they did to us, Belfry, in 2016 when we had one of the best teams in school history, IMO. They beat us 45-20. That was the year they had Clemson star Amari Rodgers. It was our only loss that year. Belfry went on to a 14-1 record, beating Central 52-31 in the championship.

Have not seen Highlands play yet this year. And know nothing about TN team. Sounds like Scott kept game close in first quarter last week which is not a good sign for highlands, heard backup QB started for Highlands and struggled.

Having never seen Catholic, I honestly can't give an accurate prediction. What are their strengths? Fast team? Big team? Are they a fundamentally sound team, or rely more on athletic talent to cover for a lack of fundamental detail?
While I expected a slightly better showing from Highlands last week, it is important to remember that Highlands traditionally looks a little rough in the first game. Some of their best teams struggled in the opening game of the season.

Spread Offense.
Huge OLine led by two 4* prospects.
Always very talented skill.
Defensively they usually give up some points. Two D-1 players on D-Line including a potential All-American at DE.
I won't say they lack fundamentals, but their coach definitely caters to their talent and athleticism. Usually they have a lethal Offense and a Defense that gets the job done but will give up yards and points.

Knoxville Catholic went 9-4 last season. Lost in the semifinals of Tennessee's Division I Class 5A to eventual state champion Knoxville Central.
They have three 4 star recruits and two 3 star recruits for the class of 2020 on their roster.
Maxpreps has them as the #6 team overall in the state of Tennessee and #209 nationally.

Knox Cath is a solid team, year in, year out. I expect them to handle Highlands by 21 to 28..

After seeing Highlands come out flat in the first half against Scott, I have to give this one to Knox Cath. Highlands was actually losing to Scott during the first quarter and didn't take the lead in the game until the end of the first half. They adjusted fairly well in the second half, plus a pick6 from the D helps a lot.
Unless they've made a huge step forward in practice this week, they're going to have a long drive back to the Fort.

First time, long time. I know nothing about Knoxville but if the Birds offense takes an entire half to get going like they did against Scott, it'll be tough road to hoe all year. The Birds D looked good but did have a couple mental breakdowns that did lead to Scott's two TDs.
Based on current history I would take Knoxville. Also I don't believe a 2hr 30minute drive to Corbin will effect a high school kid.
