Oh yeah that was a special team without a doubt. A few D1's on that team. If that group would've had this year's line they'd been even better than they were. You'll see what I'm getting at in a few weeks. I'm not saying they're the best team ever but they're very good at more than just skill positions as in the past. I doubt they'll beat a Mayfield or a Bowling Green, but they won't get blown out like previous years.

Apparently my knowledge on the subject isn't too far-fetched.
2014 Mustangs ....
-Beat PT handedly on the road.
-Beat Mayfield in OT at home.
-Beat Southhaven, MS at home. One of the most athletic teams I've seen come to this area
-Lost to Graves (5A runner-up that year) at home 21-28. Mustangs had six turnovers with two of them returned for TDs.
-Beat both Henderson and Christian on the road in convincing manner.
-Had Manual on the ropes before some questionable decisions in the second half. Most thought we couldn't score more than a TD against one of the state's best defenses. Up 20-0 at half before imploding. Manual was nipping at the heels of Trinity, St. X, and Male that year.
