Paintsville's Shane Grimm...
#1
Shane Grimm set an all-time school strikeout record for one game with 18 strikeouts. That top names like Keith Adkins and Craig Ratliff and Tucker Howard just to name a few.
Also he set an all-time school record for strikeouts in consecutive starts with 32 strikeouts.

Congrats, and yeah...this kid is only a SOPHOMORE!!!:letsparty

Ironton, OH and they're not a shabby ball club either. So congrats Shane, keep up the good work partner.

He is a very good pitcher, but let's clam down just a little.

Grimm is an excellent pitcher. His arm will only get stronger as he grows, if he takes care of it, which I'm sure he will. He has pinpoint control and great velocity. His stuff is difficult to hit (I've faced him a few times in little league). He will be a top pitcher in the region for the next 3 years!

Not shabby at all!!! If you were able to see how hard they hit the ball against Allen Central(4 crushed taters) and the second game against Paintsville, then you would be really impressed with Grimm's outing!

Nice year for Grimm so far. If he keeps that up Paintsville will once again be one of the favorites to win the 15th. Wow think bout how good he will be by the time he is a senior.

18 strikeouts is good enough to put him in the state record books for strikeouts in a 7 inning game!!! Congrats, Grimm!!! Well done!!!!
