Estill sucks so much didn't even see second base hix acted like he didn't wanna be out there if I'm estill I'd make a coaching change as soon as estill gets sent home in the first round of the region tournament but estill may not be that smart especially since the superintendent gave his self a 24,000 raise after the school board turned it down and for the love of God please do not hire the coaches son as the head coach it will be in the same boat

Tough loss. Skidmore was on point for Powell. Its sports your gonna win some and lose some and streaks will be broke.

I dont think a coaching change needs to happen. Coach Crowe has won district almost every year since hes been at Estill.

Skidmore is the best pitcher in the region in my opinion. The pirates will be hard to beat when he’s on the mound.

Anyone at that game tonight that thinks a coach could have made a difference is stupid. Powell played better tonight end of story. Estill might beat them the next 10 times but Powell won tonight and that is what what matters at this moment in time.

Get out of here with that. Estill only struck out 3 or 4 times. Skidmore pitched a heck of a game, but Estill put the bat on it. Bottom line, Powell outplayed Estill and deserved to win that game!

As far as the coaching goes, you are crazy if you think Crowe has done anything but a spectacular job. 3 out of 5 district titles in his tenure. And if you want to go as far as to say that he hasn't produced in the region, my question to you is; who has besides Hazard and Knott in his 5 years as head coach? Estill has as many Region titles in his 5 years as Letcher, Perry, Powell, Breathitt combined. Which is ZERO!

His boy better be the next head coach. He knows more about the game than anyone around here! Played at the collegiate level and had Pro tryouts. Young man knows the game and more importantly, knows how to convey his knowledge to his players.

Surprise upset but Powell has had flashes of solid composure and they can upset teams on any given night. Crowe is an excellent coach that has refined the teams in the past for successful runs in the region. I'll be surprised if Powell or Estill doesn't upset one of the favorites in the 14th.
