KCC 4/21 from the field. W-V has played tight D all year.
McGuire with 3 fouls.

Just saw a power move inside by KCC's Gannon Couch. Nice!

Shows how weak 14th really is.

That was embarrassing

Knott played with head down, Napier kid, big 3 shooter turned ankle before the game even started..nightmare for Knott from then..I’ve seen them play better..Would not have won with Napier but I think their heads would have been more in it and heart..they are a better team than what they showed tonight.

It wouldn’t have changed the outcome and I’m not sure how much closer the game would have been but Knott’s best player and shooter, Napier, injured his ankle in warm-ups and didn’t play in the game.

How is this any different than Hazards best player getting his ankle injured and didn’t play but one quarter in the finals of the 14th region? Hate that for the kid. But like many have said, one player doesn’t win games. Where was the other players? Final being in the low 30’s for Knott? I remember a podcast that was stated they couldn’t support a team that only scored in the 30’s in a high school ballgame, referencing Hazard/Knotts game in the final. But yet, Knott just scored in the low 30’s. Hmm...

It isn’t any different than Hazard losing their best player vs Knott in the All A region. That possibly cost the Bulldogs that game.
I agree that “one player does not make a team”, but if it’s the best player it can sure affect the outcome. But it didn’t in this game.

To be honest, I don't think you could combine any two teams in the 14th Region and beat Walton-Verona

I don’t either.
