Some of you all know me outside of here, but a few of you only know me as the guy on here who pokes at you constantly and you can never take seriously.
But, believe it or not, outside of here Iâm pretty serious about sports in EKY.
I used to produce all of WYMTâs live athletic events, Iâve been a color analyst on WSGSâs family of stations for a few years and Iâve spent the year as a columnist for Bluegrass Sports Nation reporting on Perry Central football.
My first foray into media was writing for the now defunct examiner.com
I used my writing there to end up at WYMT where I ended up writing a dozen or so articles a day for WYMTâs website. When youâre writing that much each day, you never get to put the time you want into your work and I usually ended up passing off the big stories to a reporter to finish things up.
Iâve enjoyed being a columnist this year and getting some time to flesh out my stories a little more. Iâve never posted any of them on here, but I figured I would post a few of my favorites from the year in case you guys wanted to check them out.

Personally I think you have gone down hill since you abandoned that absolutely wonderful Detroit Roll n Roller look. It was quite the compliment that you wanted to look like me....
It's reflecting in your writings too....Seems like now that everything you do is just going Against The Wind.
