Who was the last Mcdonalds All American for Kentucky?
#1
I have no clue
#2
Pretty sure it was Carlos Hurt of Louisville Moore HS in 2001. He attended UL.
#3
You could say Rajon Rondo. But technically he was from virginia.
#4
Talent is just SO DOWN anymore across the state compared to the early 80's to early 90's!
#5

No, he's not.
Rajon Rondo was the last Kentuckian to gain McDonalds All American honors.
He was born in Louisville...played at Louisville Eastern before finishing his career at Oak Hill Academy.
Averaged 21.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 12.0 apg as a senior at Virginia’s Oak Hill Academy ... Averaged 27.6 ppg, 10.0 rpg and 7.5 apg as a junior at Louisville’s Eastern High School, where he earned All-State honors and was named the 7th Region Player of the Year ... Was named a McDonald’s All- American in 2004 and scored 14 points, four assists and four rebounds in the all-star game ... Was named a second-team Parade All-American as a senior .

No, I couldn't play. I had already committed to two All-Star games and in 98 NCAA rules stated that you could only play in two. I played in the Derby Festival Games (Louisville) and the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star Game.

For the last time, yes it is really me!! I figured why try to hide my name, might as well let people know who I am anyway. That way they don't have to wonder if I know what I am talking about or not!!

Hey, I am ready for any question that you can throw at me. Try to give me a local Civil War question. Maybe one about Middle Creek, Ivy Mountain, Paintsville, or maybe some personalities - Humphrey Marshall, James Garfield, Andrew Jackson May, the "notorious" Sid Cook, etc. O.k., I think everyone knows my hobby (other than basketball) now!!!! Smile
#22
I'm not really sure I want to get into a battle with you.... on the basketball court or in civil war history... but I'd be glad to face off on some Friends trivia...

I am married to the former Shawna Ratliff, and I'll tell you what I am lucky to have her. You know she is 6'4" and used to be a runway model in Europe! I must have been lucky to have someone like that to marry!!!!

Don Carlos Buell. If he would have been a little more "daring" he could have eliminated Braxton Bragg's army and helped bring an end to the war in the west!!!
