This is what some ESPN talking heads have described as the biggest game in Kentucky football history. (6) Georgia visits (11) Kentucky. It is my understand that this is a winner take all in the SEC East. They will secure their spot in the SEC Championship.
Common Opponents:
Georgia
South Carolina 41-17
Missouri 43-29
Vanderbilt 41-13
Florida 36-17
Kentucky
South Carolina 24-10
Missouri 15-14
Vanderbilt 14-7
Florida 27-16

Wildcats d dominates, wins the SEC East, heads to Atlanta, and beats the Bulldogs 20-3.

Another low scoring game. Cats D will do what they do. If the LSU and Florida games are any indication, Benny should be able to run the ball quite well against the Dawgs. Florida not known to run the ball had a good day running the ball against them. They could be like Missouri and load the box on us and hopefully then Wilson can have another 250+ yard day throwing safe passes. In saying that i hope the cats win but in reality Iâm a little worried.

if we win, can someone get me tickets to the Sec Championship game?Hard For to get in Arkansas

We without a doubt have a very legitimate shot to beat the Dawgs and guarantee a spot in the SEC Championship game! We are a MUCH better and more confident team inside the confines of Commonwealth Stadium, which is very dangerous for Georgia. We without a doubt have the better defense in my opinion. Josh Allen is gonna go to work and should come up with some big time plays that will probably send the Georgia offensive line scrambling to figure out how to block him.
I know either way, win or lose, we will finish the regular season either 10-2 or 11-1, which are both better than anything most of us have seen from this team in our lifetimes. BUT, I can't help but want it all. There's no time like the present! I would love to be able to meet Bama in the SEC Championship game and make Damien Harris wish he had gone with the hometown team instead!
Kentucky - 24
Georgia - 21

Wilson can get a little shell shocked when playing away, he will be at home and should be able to settle in a lot more comfortable. This season is setting up all in UK’s favor, let’s just hope we can keep it close and put it away as a win. I don’t know if Paschal is ready or not, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him Trot out on that field on 3rd down. If Stoops does surprise us with him, Georgia will have a time with him and Allen on the field at the same time. I doubt it but I’m really hoping.

I think Georgia brings Kentucky back to reality. Georgia by at least 21.

I just wonder if UK is ready to play Bama if they do beat Georgia, it could be embarrassing.

i have said all year the SEC East goes through Lexington and I have also said that UK has a special team
The realistic side of me says GA 31 - UK 7
But BUT not so fast. I have to stand beside my words and support this special cast. After all with 5 seconds to play last week this game shouldn't even have this kind of implication. But UK found the way
So UK's Defense shows why it can play with the big boys. UK's offense finds a way but not to much. I don't expect much from Benny because everyone will be in the box. UK kicks 5 damn fieldgoals
UK 15
UGA 14

O-Line isn’t great, defense has trouble with the run. They’re just now figuring out a QB. I do think they win because of having all those 5 stars but they won’t win by 21. I’m not sure Georgia can score 28. Will be fun to watch though.

come on man. Not that im hating because I am a true SEC fan. But bama has the best team that money can buy. I know a recruiter for Bama that lives in Lexington and the amount of money that they spend on players in stupid in the Kentucky area.

Now in saying that, i watched both of georgia’s Games with LSU and FL. LSU ran all over them, and i mean all over them to the tune of 275 yds rushing and somewhere around 200 passing. I’m not saying we are LSU but we are capable of running the ball. Last week Wilson had almost 300 yards passing, which i had no clue about until two days after the game. It just didn’t seem like he had that much. If he can put some drives together like that last drive against Missouri, it gives us a real shot because they can’t stack the box. Also, he has got to use his legs, if he can open it up and play like he did against Florida, i think we can pull it out. It will be close unless UK just has a mental breakdown on D all afternoon. Go Cats!!

and that is my point. If Wilson can come out and play without looking scared from the start I like UK this weekend. I was there the night that they beat the great Hershal Walker in Lexington.
It comes down to this. Which QB for UK shows up. The scared tentative QB or the one that looks the part. If the one that looks the part shows up from the start. Its gonna be a long day for the dawgs.
if the one shows up that we have seen time and time again. Its gonna get ugly and ugly in a hurry. We can not keep our def on the field for 80 percent of snaps.

That’s what i said earlier, he should feel a little more comfortable being at home, if this hgame was at Georgia I’d say we have no chance. But if he can settle in and not look like a deer in headlights, i think this will be a slobberknocker.

House money this week. Just soak it in. Only two negative things I could see. One, we get blown out and the national media goes âsee theyâre not that good.â Itâs possible, I guess, but with the defense we put on the field and the electricity that will be in that stadium Saturday, I think we will at least keep it close. My other worry is if we lose, even a close one, we have a hangover the next week and lose to a slowly improving Tennessee in Knoxville. I sure want us to win, but I would also be perfectly fine with a 10-2 year, not having to face Bama in Atlanta, and a really, really good bowl game. But what the hell, we may never see this again. Cats 21-20.

If and that's a big if, UK can play like we know they can (I.E. Miss State, FLA) and Terry and Benny are on point then it should be a good game, however, if the team that shows up that barely got past both Vandy and Mizzou, then Georgia will walk all over them and Fromm will have a field day.
Heart says Kentucky....Mind says Georgia.....Which one do you go with?

If they had a great offense or great defense like last year I’d agree, but they have flaws this year, and it just so happens their flaws are where our strengths are. Then again you may be right, we could come out and lay a goose egg, but this isn’t a regular SEC game, these players and coaches know the significance of this game. The cats will be able to keep it close till their best part of the game and that’s the second half, that’s when the D usually kicks it in high gear. If you can hold Missouri to zero first downs in the second half, you’re a pretty good Defense. A Missouri team that Georgia gave up 29 points too. It’s gonna be a fun game to be at, that stadium will be rocking. One of us gets to come back in here Sunday and say i told ya so

Like everyone else my head says Georgia in a close one, but my heart goes with the cats and that stingy defense. This is why we play the game gentlemen, should be a dandy

Ky up 3 late in the game 20-17 gets a strip fumble TD to seal a 27-23 final score Victory and a trip to Atlanta to hopefully take on LSU but more then likely Alabama. State Street and a lot of couches will be burning Saturday night. Hopefully they save a few for Tuesday night and the Puke UK basketball game.

Cats have to avoid turnovers and penalties to win. If they can stay in front of the sticks they can control the tempo of the game and keep Georgia's offense on the sidelines. Much easier for Wilson to make throws 3rd and short than 3rd and long. If Georgia has to rspect the run on 3rd down Wilson will have a game similar to the Missouri game.

Kentucky wins this game because:
1. The Defense is playing LIGHTS OUT and has only allowed one team 20 pts.
2. Benny Snell & AJ Rose will run all over UGA
3. Josh Allen is a man-child
4. Commonwealth WILL BE ROCKIN!
5. IT'S OUR FRIKKIN TIME!!!
GO CATS!

I look for the offense to be more up tempo this week, due to Wilson being more comfortable in a hurry up type of offense. A grind it out offense, doesn't allow the quarterback to get, or stay in a rhythm. If you think about the past two game winning drives, both were hurry up. Against Vanderbilt, the final drive consisted of running the ball on every play, but we went quick and didn't allow the Commodores to get comfortable and kept them off balance and wore them down. Against Missouri, Wilson had to play fast and he looked like a completely different quarterback. Wilson seems to think too much at times, and a faster paced offense will allow him to go out and play and do less thinking. With that being said, I'm not worried about the defense, because they have done their part all year and they are the reason we are playing for the SEC East Title. When the smoke clears at Kroger Field this Saturday, I truly believe the CATS, will be SEC East Champions. UK wins 24-20.

Terry Wilson has stated that he's ready to lit it rip against the Dawgs
