UK's four big men – Reid Travis, Washington, Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery – all scored at least 12 points and were joined in double figures by Quade Green (13), Keldon Johnson (13) and Ashton Hagans (10). Travis had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and Montgomery 14 points and nine rebounds as UK outrebounded Transylvania by a margin of 52-18.

UK shot just 1-13 from behind the 3-point arch.

Shooting didn’t look great. A bunch of stuff didn’t look great. But it’s the first game of the season and the first for these new guys in Rupp.

was curious about the former Johnson Central player. He wasn't listed on the 18-19 roster for Transy. Did he transfer to another school, is he injured, or just decide to stop playing?

Defense struggled. Gave up to many drives to the basket and easy 3's. I expect this to get much better.
