The Colonels looked very unimpressive in their 35-34 win on the road at Tennessee Martin. EKU forced a 3 and out to open the game put roughed the punter and gave the Skyhawks new life. They took advantage as they took a 7-0 lead. The Colonels scored the next 21 points. The Skyhawks scored the next 24 points as they took a 31-21 lead into the half. They came out and the extended the lead to 34-21 early in the second half. The Colonels would then score the final 14 points to seal the deal. Running back LJ Scott would finish with 106 yards on the ground to lead the Colonels. Daryl McCleskey would add 74 yards.
