Congrats rams 👍

Good game , I really like how this team is playing on both ideas of the ball with the addition of Ethan cox he made some plays in both sides of the ball
#4
Congrats to Rams

Weird game for me..felt like we were about 28 points better then them but their coach called a very good game and had his kids ready to play.It seemed like they were never in the game but it was a close game till the fourth.Cox could be a game changer that’s for sure! PW is a solid team and they played hard!
#6
This was a good game to watch and I agree with RamDad that we seemed to be much better but their coaches found a way to keep them in it. When we had the late goal line stand I think that broke their morale. This was a great game for our guys and they showed a lot of toughness out there tonight.

The Rams will not lose until potentially the state semis against Pikeville. This is a very good Raceland team this season, perhaps their best ever.

Having Ethan out there opposite of Gunner makes us very hard to defend. Throw Wallace and Dalton in the slot and you have to play balanced defense. Judd is a workhorse and Hunter is awsome late in a game after Judd has pounded through the bulk of the game. We havent had an offense with this many weapons and this much depth since probably 2008. Jake Heighton is smart and makes good throws and tucks it when he has to. Heck of a second half. I expected PWs power run game would get us eventually, their first score was just a perfectly thrown ball to the back of the endzone. Gotta keep our emotions in check though. The personal fouls at the end of the game were completely uncalled for.

Jake hasn’t thrown a int this year...that’s his most important stat
#10
Raceland always has personal fouls. That’s kind of their identity. It must come from the coach because it’s been that way for years. I don’t mind it if they back it up with wins, though. It only looks bad when they’re losing and start that stuff. After all, football is a violent sport and the most violent team has a pretty good shot of winning.

Congrats Rams.

i would agree had it not been a PF for a player arguing a TD catch that didnt matter. atleast thats whatbit looked to be called on. anyone else have any insight?
#13
which indont agree w the call either, but theres no point in the argument.
#14
A personal foul for arguing with a ref? Maybe unsportsmanlike conduct?
#15
they announced PF. i didnt see the officials signal

Let’s dont start that...the Rams have lots of room for improvement!
1- blocking..yes we can run the ball and yes our line is big but they are slow.We have problems picking up any kind of stunt or blitz! And yes we throw the ball well but on third and long we get beat on the edge a lot! Idk who is on the right side but whoever that tackle is...he can use help on every third and long!
2- We have to find a way to get a pass rush! Once again we are slow! Can’t blitz our linebackers all the time. The middle of the field is wide open all the time on use because on third down we are bringing the house!
3- Jake gives up a little to soon sometimes on a pass play and pulls it down to scramble.Missed some wide open receivers tonight because he tucked to soon! But like I said...no int for Jake on the year so can’t complain to much here!
4 kicking game .....getting better !!

We keep working and get some of these things fixed and we will be very hard to beat come November! Go Rams!!

I’m not trying to jinx the Rams or anything. They have a really really good team this year. I hope they make it all the way and win the state this year. This is the best Raceland team I can remember. Of course they have to stay the course, avoid injuries, and keep working, but they’ve got a shot this year. That’s all you can ask for.

Those at the end were because two of our kids kept signaling incomplete on that touchdown where the guy was 2 yards out of bounds when he caught the last touchdown pass.

Sounds crazy.

It’s on film plain as day. Ref on that side never moved an inch and the guy in the middle of the field stayed in the middle and made a guess and called it a touchdown. The corner on that side said he didn’t even try to intercept it or knock it down because the receiver was way out of bounds

Rams just keep winning. Pikeville game Thanksgiving weekend should be a good one.
#23
Got to get by the Tigers twice first
#24
Congratulations rams

Congratulations to the Rams!

They got Somerset next week who is solid defensively. Should be a good test for that Raceland O-line. Somerset is a tough place to play.

Our bye week can’t come soon enough. Slobber knocker this week and slobber knocker next week.
#28
If not careful you will get stuck in the Briar Patch. Bunnies are tough.

I agree 100%. Jake gets happy feet but that will change with Maturity. reminds me alot if Nathaniel Davidson his Jr year. imo it shows good decision making though and is likely why he hasnt thrown a pick yet. but there are times that a step up and over in the pocket would have big plays alot if the time. I think our speed upfront offensively could be a little quicker latterally which would aid in blitz pick ups, but they are getting the job done. Backside containment by our DEs has to get better. we wiffed on 4 or 5 sure sacks turn in to big runs or extended plays. Liked the play calling tonight outside if a handful if calls, we tried some not so new, new new things that loomed promising. Looking fiward to seeing how we respond to the trip to the briar pstch next week. XPs r better but punts and kickoffs need vast i.provement still.
