Beechwood @ Corbin 9/7
#1
Thoughts?

Probably the best game in the state friday.
Another packed house I'm sure.

I’ll be there for sure! Been looking forward to this one for a few weeks now! Especially now that a few games are under each of their belts! I think it’s gonna be a hard fought war! Gonna say Beechwood shocks the system lol and wins 27-21. Could very well be the other way around tho! Two high quality teams

Next two weeks are gonna be big time football in the mountains got Belfry Pikeville the week after 😍
#4
This game will be a knock down drag out!!

I believe Corbin will take it though; home field advantage.

Corbin 28-14

Corbin will knock em down and drag em out. Too many Colonels for the Tigers to defend. Confusednicker:

Beechwood will give Corbin there first loss
#8
Looks like Beechwood will get them another ring before leaving class A !!

Corbin will beat Beechwood like a rented mule.

I think the hounds have had this one circled since last year. I think the hounds will win this one and run away late.

Corbin 35
Beechwood 7
#13
This should be a great game. I’ll take Corbin in a close one 27-20.

If Ashurst or Philpot crew calling this game then yes Corbin wins. I forgot the Alcoa factor as many now call it.

Hope this is WYMT game of the week love to watch it but I will be at another game Friday night but I think Corbin win in a close one 21 to 14
#18
Corbin wins by 2-3 touchdowns.

You need to stop what you're doing right now, go to the drug store, and buy some Desitin. You definitely have some butt rash in there.

Go tigers

If not for our 20 penalties to 1 last year, we’d have beat them on the road. I think we’re much better at this point than we were last year. I’m taking my hounds by 12

I think the Hounds win by at least 3 TD's. I'm not trying to take anything away from Beechwood, their an awesome team with a great tradition, but Corbin is just on another level this year. It will be the shocker of the year for me if Beechwood goes in to Corbin and gets a win.

I hope you’re right!!! We are gonna put points on the board. But I think their speed and style of play will always generally lead to a lot of points as well. Like last year. But the 2 things that give me confidence is, 1)Our defense! It doesn’t get enough credit. They’re super fast, play the run and pass both extremely well as we’ve seen in past games with different types of offense. Whitley was power run. Granted, not a very good team this year, but we stopped it all night and pitched a shutout. Danville, also extremely fast plays a dual threat QB, which we also shut down the pass and run. Pulaski, well.... you know the rest. Our starters have gave up 17 points in 3 games.

2) I think we have improved tremendously from last year, with new additions and having people in the right place. I.e. our QB.

Those two things coupled with the barley etched us at their home last year. On top the penalty discrepancy. Not saying if it was even we would have won, because either way we still lost. But all of those things combined are adding up for a big night for the Hounds.

Plus I’d say they’re a tad pissed off about last year and how it transpired up there.

I wish we could. But they’ve got too many athletes to do that.

Your #2 is what scares me to death about my Pirates playing Corbin! You guys were great last year, and when you say you've "improved tremendously", well that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand! Lol
