35-14 Tomcats!!! Ashland’s passing game is going to be hard to handle. Ratliff’s big play ability with his arm and legs will mean quick scores and not much T.O.P. for the Cats.

Ashland should be the favorites in this game. Harlan county is young this year but I think by the end of the year they could be good. We get some experience this year next year we should be very good only losing 2 on offense and 2 on defense.

I believe to a great degree, that is part of what happened last year.

I agree that Ashland is the favorite this year. I am so much more removed from this program, but I believe HC lost 13-15 Seniors from last year. I hear reports that this year's team is young, inexperienced but has one of the best work ethics.

I also have all the faith in the world in Eddie Creech. They'll be ready to play, and I wish them all the luck in the world.

Inexperienced previous state champs. Yes it was their 8th grade year I already know! Facts are facts, this group has dominated before and will do it again. Work ethic plays a huge role. So does smash mouth mountain football. HC has powerhouse junior and seniors as well, all of whom was one previous team in the past. Though we may be young, Itâs a family reunion. Do us the favor tho keeping counting on the easy W!

Anytime i see someone say it’s an automatic win i automatically know someone don’t know football. While i do believe Ashland will win due to HC being so young, saying a game is automatic is hilarious.

Granny Bear,
If you change your mind on traveling to Ashland for the game, you are welcome to come see Leigh and me. We will be tailgating behind the stadium. I do not think Ms. Alice is making the trip from Harlan though. It was fun tailgating at her place last year despite the loss. Safe travels to all coming in for the game. Friendly reminder - Putnam Stadium is NOT at the High School. It is located next to the Middle School located at 2800 Kansas Street, Ashland.

If I were going to be there, I'd tail gate with you guys in a New York minute!! Truth of the matter is, I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow. I'm scared to death that I am getting shingles. Just my luck to start football season off with some dreaded illness!! Last August, I was diagnosed with Pertussis!!

I'm telling you; getting old is NOT for the weak!!!

My middle Bear baby and youngest Bear baby will be there though. Baby Zack helps the coaching staff and his middle brother just got assigned as a new KSP trooper to Ashland. He LOVES it up there!!!!

FYI, the player that left that team two years ago, just got back to HC today.
