Can't believe that this post has been up 5 days without a list. I guess if your name is not White Chocolate 2.0, Superman or Pikeville Prodigy no one cares. What a joke it has become with some of these kids.

One kid on this list is in WV, and having Brady in front of Trey is something.

James and Conn should be moved up to 3 and 4. No way Dingess should be 3. He is a solid player but not top 3 just yet. Colegrove made the move back to WV but Paintsville or Pikeville have a host of players that could fill that 10 spot.

Not sure what school Hellier consolidated in to, but that school should play at least one game a year in a throwback uniform. Hellier Hellcats!!!

Which surprised me...Hellier is probably closer to Elkhorn City as its actually near the sycamore area, not as much in marrowbone as people think.

Uprisings would occur in Feds Creek and Elkhorn City. You'd have to do a Viking throwback and a Cougar throwback and a Mustang throwback....Not possible.

Miss the small school days. Attended Oil Springs HS two years before they consolidated into JC. They ran buses to the home games back then, never missed one. Saw Mike Tallent and Maytown, Warfield and Inez were always tough it seemed. Meade Memorial was ALWAYS good.
I'm sure most readers know the story, but Oil Springs won two tournaments in one night in the 60's, split the team. One in Salyersville and one in Prestonsburg. My wife's uncle was one of their best players. Oh the good ol days...

Any list of players without Brady Whittaker of Magoffin County can't be, he single handily keeps them in games

There are a lot of great kids that should be on that list, how about Cory VanHoose or Braxton Maynard or Nick Keeton they are great players too!!!!
I think it's going to be a fun year for basketball in the 15th Region with some surprises.
Read today that Trey James was doing a school visit at Louisville today and Perdue tomorrow, I guess Sheldon Clark still has a real D-! prospect on their team. Big Trey James looked good wearing that #5 Louisville uniform, maybe once a Card always a Card, who knows. GOOD LUCK Big Trey.

The real question is does Paintsville have enough basketballs to go around.

They appear to have more than 5 kids who should be starters on their team, so I think the real question is, do they have enough starting spots to keep all the parents happy??? I'm sure there is no shortage balls.

According to the David & Darryl Sports show, Paintsville just became unbeatable this year with the transfer of Kalen Siebert from WV. it amazes me how 1 team can be so lucky to get 2 AAU stars like Dinguess and Seibert in one year. I felt Paintsville was really good last year but with these 2 new starters leading the way for the Tigers this year, all I can say is WOW.

Not luck. Just a family wanting to destroy their former school(SCHS) and willing to do anything to do it. Where is the kid for WV living is something I would like to know.

It's my understanding he is living with the Dingess family in Martin County.
It is sad that a kid would do anything to destroy their former school because his dad didn't get to be his coach, really WTF, there are a lot of parents that would like to coach their kids but they don't get mad. It does not say much about his so called loyalty or friendship to his former teammates, but maybe he didn't have any real friends, or they just don't serve a purpose anymore. Maybe it about using any school or anybody that will get you where you want to be, and as far as I know, nobody said Brady couldn't go to or play at SCHS, it was all about his dad not getting his way and you know i speak the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts, and I think Coach Slone is a smart guy and will catch on to the hype faster than Coach James did, and by the why, if his dad is such a GREAT COACH why isn't he a head coach somewhere?
Thank God this will all play out on the court and no matter which team wins, I know all the kids will wake up the next morning and life will go on, and some kids will be build lifelong friendships by playing sports and being part of a team, and some won't, and the HATERS will always be HATERS.
