I would list some of your ridiculous statements, but I don't have the room. The subject of this thread is "Selective Outrage". It's difficult to realize that after you have, yet again, thrown this thread into the ditch.

There has been a recent example of selective outrage.

Remember the Sarah Huckabee incident? She tweeted the incident just after it happened. Mind you, she tweeted the 100% truth of what had happened. Yet the very next day, I heard and read that she would probably be brought up before the Ethics Committee because of her tweet.

Two days ago, Bill Clinton made the public statement that he respected what Sarah Huckabee had done. He agreed with her non-violent response of leaving when asked to leave and sharing information that wasn't opinion but objective facts.

What are we hearing now? Crickets.

This situation was given the Clinton Approval. Talk about red meat.

Sarah Huckabee, a public servant, going about her private life, was asked to leave a restaurant for no other reason than the owners disagreed with her politically.

A bakery owner specializing in wedding cakes refused to prepare a cake for a gay couple for no other reason than his religion held homosexuality to be wrong.

Slippery slope, as Roger Williams saw several hundred years ago.

Let’s be clear: the owner(s) of the Red Hen breached civility, decorum, and decency by asking Ms. Huckabee Sanders to leave. Period. If Bill Clinton thinks otherwise, he can kick rocks.

Let us be even more clear. If the Red Hen was a privately owned restaurant, then they had every right to ask her to leave. Sarah then tweeted a fact. She had been asked to leave the restaurant and she did. That was all, no opinion no judgment. Then she gets a firestorm of negativity and threats to take her before the ethics committee. Many threats even to her children weremade. It was newsworthy for a couple of days but when Bill Clinton agreed with her, the media shut down immediately.

I do not believe, in the United States of America, the owner(s) of The Red Hen did have the right to ask her to leave. A restaurant depending upon license and open to the public is not the same as a private domicile. If the owners of The Red Hen want to only serve those with whom they politically agree, they should reclassify as a private, members-only club, charge dues, and go from there.

I knew what you meant, as did anybody who doesn't take their every cue from the DNC. What you just dealt with were the efforts of a left wing revisionist. And that's what I meant when I said they try and drag you into the ditch with them. Your words are redefined to make it seem that you and your liberal debate opponent have achieved common ground. (Democrat speak is loaded with dog whistles, name calling and catch phrases.) That's why you'll never hear any sort of personal convictions glaring through a post they might make.

IMO, business owners should have the absolute right to choose whom they wish to do business. The Red Hen owner behaved stupidly, and the free market will punish her for her stupidity. I think that the Democrat Party has found another potential candidate for public office, but the Red Hen owner will have to move to a much more liberal area to win an election.
