I support Senator Warner in his decision to vote for confirmation. Ms. Haspel’s thirty-three year career of devotion and accomplishment merit her being confirmed. The aftermath of 9/11 (in my opinion) led our intelligence-gathering agencies to some dark places ill-befitting a “city on a hill” republic, but Ms. Haspel is not responsible for that.

I've already laid out my case about Democrats flip-flopping and then having the nerve to blame Republicans. Democrats were so all-in on slavery that we had to fight a civil war to get black folks free. But thanks to a very effective revisionist propaganda campaign being waged by Dems since the days of Abraham Lincoln, people looking for racist validation/justification and those who're just plain willfully superficial among us, believe the Republicans are the guilty ones. EG, Maxine Waters and the rest of the CBC.

Democrats campaigned for, voted for, and later when it became politically expedient and in the sincerest of absurdities, denied their very active endorsement of the Iraq Resolution and then blamed Republicans for tricking them. Not that they don't act as if they're all dumb enough to be tricked.

In the Gina Haspel confirmation, we saw Dems acting like they didn't have one thing to do with waterboarding. That... is a bald faced lie as I just proved. But if politics were as you say, legalized deception or otherwise just a matter of acceptable lying, the US would not have such a glorious record to look back on. (That does however, explain the entirety of the Obama administration.) It takes honorable people of fiber to win 2 world wars and all kinds of lesser wars. But I digress. The whole deal of fierce resistance of the Gina Haspel nomination is part of the organized and traitorous resistance against this duly elected President. When Republicans win again this November, Democrats will stage mass suicides up and down Pennsylvania Avenue.

The US did not enter WW2 as early as we should because weasels, bozos and other liberals in government, were all similarly afflicted with fear and terminal simple-itis. FDR wanted us in but liberal pacifists would not allow it. They cow towed to the Axis powers exactly like Obama did with Iran. Doesn’t change the sacrifice of countless soldiers or the incredible brilliance of the commanders who led them. And certainly that doesn’t change the fact that the countries of the world owe America a great debt.

My point was why would one vote for a Dem when you KNOW they’re going to use your money and your vote against you? Most have had enough and that’s why Trump got elected.
